BEAUTIFUL RUINS

$65.00

As a child Gore Vidal would visit his grandfather Thomas Gore, a US senator, and they would take walks around the mall in Washington. The senator, who was blind, would ask Gore to describe the buildings and monuments and would always remark, “They will make such beautiful ruins.”
